BSF Recruit Notification 2016, ASI Head Constable Application Form,Exam Date,Syllabus:

Online Registration in response to the Border Security Force, Directorate General (Communication & IT Directorate) Notification for recruitment to the Post of Assistant Sub-Inspector (RM) and Head Constable (RO) shall commence on the 16th of June 2016 (16.06.2016) at 0900 Hours with the Deadline for Online Application Forms closing on the 15th of July 2016 (15.07.2016) at 0000 Hours or 23:59:59 Hours.

The Border Security Force, Directorate General (Communication & IT Directorate) has notified through Advertisement for the recruitment of the ASI, Head Constable & SI Posts , so the eligible candidates can apply through online mode by following the all aspects regarding to the posts.

Eligibility Criteria:

10+2 / Intermediate / Equivalent with Aggregate 50% Marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) being the Selective Subjects from any Board of Secondary Education recognized by the Central Government / State Government.

Head Constable (HO)

Matriculation or Equivalent and 02-Years’ Industrial Training Institute Certificate (ITIC) in Radio & TV  / Electronics / Intermediate

Or

l0+2 or Equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) from any Board of Secondary Education or an Institution recognized by the Central Government / State Government.

Relaxation in Upper Age Limits to all other Candidates including those belonging to their Reserved Categories as well as others.

 Application Fee:  Rs. 50/- in the shape of Bank Demand in favor of the Inspector General / Directorate of Inspector General / Commandant to be paid by only Candidates belonging to General / Other Backward Classes Category.  All other Candidates are exempted from the Fee.

The envelope containing Application must be super scribes in Bold Letters As Application For the Post of Assistant Sub-Inspector (RM) or Head Constable (RO).

BSF ASI | Head Constable Syllabus 2016

The Optical Mark Recognition Based Screening Test consisting of Parts I, II & III shall have 150 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions based on Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination / Higher Secondary Certificate Examination / Intermediate / 10+2 of Board of Secondary Education Standard of Central / State Government.

The Optical Mark Recognition Based Written Examination consisting of Part IV shall comprise 50 Multiple Choice Questions of Objective Types based on Current Affairs, History, Geography and General Science.

First Phase:

Optical Mark Recognition Based Written Test

Optical Mark Recognition Based Screening Test (OMRST) 25.09.2016 The Border Security Force shall prepare the Final Result for the Posts of (i) Assistant Sub-Inspector (RM) and Head Constable (RO) by taking into consideration the Aggregate Marks secured by the Candidates in the Descriptive Test carrying Maximum 200 Marks only for the Post of Assistant Sub-Inspector (RM) and In Aggregate Marks obtained by the candidates both in the Descriptive Test and Dictation Test of 100 Marks + 100 Marks = Totaling 200 Marks for the Post of Head Constable (RO).

Second Phase:

Physical Standard Test, Physical Endurance Test

Document Verification and Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination (Detailed Medical Examination / Review Medical Examination)

MERIT:

i)         The Candidates with Sufficient High Marks / Higher Marks / Maximum Marks would be placed on the Merit List drawn up by the Border Security Force, Ministry of Defence.

ii)       In case of Equal Marks scored by the candidates both the Optical Mark Recognition Based Screening Test and Descriptive Test, then the Marks scored higher by the candidates shall be placed higher on the Merit List.

iii)      In case of a TIE [as stated above (i) & (ii)] still persisting, the Border Security Force would accord Preference / Priority to the Candidates Senior / Older in Age.

iv)     In case of a TIE [as stated above (i), (ii) & (iii) still persisting, then the Border Security Force shall give Priority to the candidate whose Name begins with the Alphabet, which comes First in the Alphabetical Order gets Preference.

v)       The Candidates belonging to any Reserved Category / Community is placed on Merit based on the Marks scored by them shall be selected against General Category with the Vacancy transferred to the other Candidates from the Reserved Category.
