Undergraduate Programs
B.Sc. (H) Agriculture (4 year) – Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent having passed with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Math or Agriculture stream from a recognized University/Board with 50% marks (47.5% for SC candidates). Candidate must be 16 years as on 31.08.2016.
B.Sc. (H) Agriculture (6-year) – Candidate must have passed Matric with 60% marks (57% for SC candidates) from a recognized Board. Candidate must be 14 years as on 31.08.2016
B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering) – Candidate must have passed 10+2 Examination from any recognized board/ university with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with at least 50% marks (47.5% for Scheduled Caste candidates). Candidate must be 16 years as on 31.08.2016.
B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering) Under Lateral Entry Scheme– Candidate must have passed Diploma in Agriculture Engineering/Food Technology/ Civil Engineering /Mechanical Engineering. Candidate must be 16 years as on 31.08.2016.
B.Sc. (H) Home Science (4 year) – Candidate must have pass 10+2 exam or equivalent from any stream with 50% marks (47.5% for SC candidates) from a recognized Board/University. Preference will be given to the science stream candidates with Physics, Chemistry and Math/Biology. Candidate must be 16 years as on 31.08.2016.
B.Sc. (H) Home Science (6 year) programmes – Candidate must have passed Matric with 60% marks (57% for SC candidates) from a recognized Board. Candidate must be 14 years as on 31.08.20164
Postgraduate programs
M.Sc. Agriculture– Candidate must have passed B.Sc. in respective discipline with 60% marks (57% marks for SC/ PwD (Person with Disability).
MBA (Agribusiness) – Candidate must have passed B.Sc. (H) Ag./Hort./Forestry/Home Sc., Dairy Sc., Fisheries, B.Sc. (Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, B.Tech. (Agriculture engineering), B.V.Sc. & A.H or any other qualification as prescribed by the State Counseling Board Haryana.
M.Sc. Food Sc. & Technology- Candidate must have bachelor’s degree in Science/Agri./Home Science/Agriculture Engineering/ FST /Food Tech.
M.Tech (Agriculture Engineering)– Candidate must have passed B.Tech/B.E in the Agriculture Engineering from recognized board or university.
M. Sc. Home Science– Candidate must have passed B.Sc. (H) Home Sc./B.Sc. Home Science from recognized board or university. Candidates with Home Science degree of 4 years duration shall be given preference over the students with Home Science degree of 3 years duration.
Ph. D. Programmes– Candidates must have obtained 60% marks (where OGPA is not given) or a grade point average of 6.5 (10.00 basis) at Master’s level in the subject concerned (special requirement of subjects for admission to College of Agriculture and Basic Sciences disciplines is given below) from a recognized University.
How to apply for CCS Haryana Agricultural University Online Admission 2016
Eligible candidates can apply through online application form from the University website i.e. http://hau.ernet.in against payment of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/BC/Economically backward Persons in the General castes) per admission form to be deposited in concerned account. Prospectus shall also be on sale in Room No. 202, Academic Branch, Fletcher Bhawan, CCSHAU, Hisar against payment of Rs. 1000/- for General Category and Rs. 250/- for SC/BC/EBPG Category.

CCS Haryana Agricultural University Online Admission 2016 entrance test pattern and syllabus
For B.Sc.(H)Agriculture 4-year Programme– Entrance Test (ET)/ Agriculture Aptitude Test (AAT) to be held at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar on 03.07.2016 (Sunday) at 10.00am -1:00 pm as mentioned below. Total duration of the exam will be 3 hours (30 minutes are for completing pre-examination formalities and 2 ½ hours for solving question paper). No negative marking
• Biology or Math or Agriculture- 100 questions – 50 marks
• Physics- 100 questions – 50 marks
• Chemistry- 100 questions – 50 marks
For B.Sc. (H) Agriculture 6-year Programme– Entrance Test (ET) to be held at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar on 11.06.2016 (Second Saturday) at 10.00 a.m to 12.30 P.M as mentioned below. Medium of the test will be English/Hindi. No negative marking
• General Aptitude in Agriculture- 60 questions – 60 marks
• General Science- 40 question- 40 marks
For B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering) – Admission will be made on the basis of merit in the JEE (Mains) 2016 and on the basis of LEET 2016 (Lateral Engineering Entrance Test).
MBA (General) /MBA (Agribusiness) – Admission shall be made as per policy of the Haryana State
For M.Sc. Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology & Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Plant Physiology, Microbiology, Zoology, Food Science & Technology– All candidates seeking admissions to above M.Sc. programmes will have to appear in Common Entrance Test (CET) to be held at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar on 03.07.2016 (Sunday) from 10.00 a.m. to 12.15 p.m. The question paper for entrance test will consist of 100 objectives multiple choice questions. One mark will be awarded for each correct answer. There will be no negative marking.
• Section A: General knowledge (Common for medical and non- medical stream) 5 Marks
• Section B: Chemistry (Common for medical and non-medical stream) 35 Marks
• Section C: Biological Science (For Medical Stream) 60 Marks
• Section D: – Mathematics and Physics (For Non-Medical Stream) 60 Marks
For M.Sc. Agriculture (In all disciplines) – Common entrance test to be held on 11.06.2016 (Second Saturday) and result shall be displayed on university website in latest by 23.06.2016 from 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM. The question paper for entrance test will consist of 200 objectives multiple choice questions. ½ marks will be awarded for each correct answer. There will be no negative marking.
B.Sc. (H) Home Science 4-year and 6-year programme- There is no Entrance Test for candidates seeking admission to these two courses.
